Review of Parthein Rasithein

Co-stars: Prashanth, Simran,Raghuvaran, Vinu Chakravarthy and Lawrence
Director : Charan
Music Director: Bharadwaj

Story :

Shanker (Prashanth) is a young and handsome boy. He comes to stay as a tenant in Banu's (Simran) house. Both of them become very good friends. One day Shanker meets a charming girl Sarika (Laila) and falls in love with her. The story takes an interesting turn when Shanker finds himself in a situation wherein he is forced to lie to his parents that he loves Banu. He hopes that the circumstances will change and his problems will be solved. But things get worse when Banu falls in love with Shanker. When matters come to a crunch, she takes a volte-face. She does not want to let Shanker go. After a lot of melodrama Banu realises that she is being selfish and turns martyr. Shankar and Sarika are united. Laila as the docile beauty also justifies her role. Prashanth stands out only in a few scenes. The scene-stealer, however, is Vinu Chakravarthy. Raghuvaran looks jaded in this film. No doubt director Charan had done a good script.
