The director has fabricated the story of a rowdy guy who falls in love with Laila, a Fine Arts student. Ajith plays the title role of Dheena, a rowdy person who works with an underworld don, who is like an elder brother to him. Hot-blooded Dheena's intolerance towards injustice and harassment of innocent people always gets him into fights, as he doesn't hesitate to question the injustice around him. Dheena falls in love with Laila, a Fine Art student, and realizes that he won't be able to stir up any emotions for himself in Laila's heart, unless he changes his life style. To achieve his love, he starts transforming himself into a gentleman. And then comes the acid test - his beloved Daada gives him a task - to wipe off Laila's family! Does he or doesn't he accomplish the task is to be watched!
